How Does NerveEase Work?
NerveEase works through four connected mechanisms: oxidative stress reduction, nerve maintenance nutrients, inflammation and rest.
Individual ingredient mechanisms are supported by research generally. Exact amounts are not disclosed on the label.
Four connected mechanisms
NerveEase works by addressing nerve comfort from more than one angle: reducing the oxidative stress and inflammation that can affect nerve tissue, supplying nutrients relevant to nerve maintenance, and supporting the rest that allows the body's own repair processes to work.
Reducing oxidative stress
Alpha-Lipoic Acid is a well-studied antioxidant researched for neutralizing oxidative damage relevant to peripheral nerve tissue. It is the most substantially researched ingredient in this formula. See our full piece on Alpha-Lipoic Acid and nerve health.
Supporting nerve maintenance
Benfotiamine, a fat-soluble form of Vitamin B1, is studied for better absorption than standard thiamine and for supporting nerve repair processes. Vitamin B12 (Methylcobalamin) is the active coenzyme form studied for maintaining myelin sheaths and healthy nerve signaling. See Benfotiamine versus standard B1 for the full explanation.
Calming inflammation
Curcumin, the active compound in turmeric, is studied for anti-inflammatory activity relevant to nerve swelling and general comfort.
Supporting energy and rest
Acetyl-L-Carnitine supports cellular energy production relevant to nerve cell health, while Passionflower Extract is studied for supporting the relaxation and sleep that make consistent daily use, and the body's own repair processes, easier to sustain.
What to realistically expect
Many people describe initial changes over 2 to 4 weeks, with continued gradual improvement over 60 to 90 days of consistent use. See the ingredient list and what it supports.
